How are most ppl using Google-Groups dealing with this?
Effective February 22, 2024, Google Groups will no longer support new Usenet content. Posting and subscribing will be disallowed, and new content from Usenet peers will not appear. Viewing and searching of historical data will still be supported as it is done today.
( in Dec., i had to start using a new GUI for Gmail )

Google /groupsspaggheddon/ cometh. There shall be zoomer weeping,
Karen wailing, and boomer gnashing of dentures.

Google Groups is, and always was, probably the worst way to read usenet.
And they broke their search functionallity years ago.

Instead of doing anything about all the spam originating from google
groups, they have decided to throw their toys out of the pram. They
won't be missed.

Nice list.

You will need to register (eternal-september and i2pn2 are excellent)
And a client (eg, https://www.thunderbird.net/en-GB/)
