is that a joke, or a TRUE observation?

------- i'd love to hear similar jokes or observations!

When a diplomat says Yes, they mean Maybe; ....
When a lady says No, she means Maybe; When a lady says Maybe, she means...

90$ of Scotsmen do not own a kilt . They hire them for weddings and
such. A decent kilt is VV expensive (not just the kilt : shoes,
jacket, shirt, skean dubh, etc) and it is not worth shelling out for
something that will get used once every couple of years or so (for
most).
There are basically two types of Scots. Those that live in the
'Central belt' (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Up to Perth ,Dundee etc) and those
that live North of that (mostly west) who wore kilts , etc
(highlanders).
As I understand it, if you see someone in London wearing a kilt you
think he's Scottish; if you see someone in Edinburgh wearing a kilt you
think he's from the Highlands; if you see someone in the Highlands
wearing a kilt you know he's American. No doubt our honourable members
from Scotland can comment on the truth of that.

When renting out kilts, it's as well to check that the occasion is not
the man's own funeral.

I would like to inquire about Scottish, 'See you Jimmy' hats.

Are Scottish Jimmy hats a real thing in Scotland or is that merely Bubba Murakin cosplay?

Do any limeys wear these silly hats?

Also, do the English mock the Scottish brogue like Americans do?
